Trusted Builders was founded by Sam Hambright and Raul Hernandez, two dedicated pool professionals who combined their experience, craftsmanship, and shared values to create a company built on quality and trust.

Sam Hambright is the owner and operator of Seaside Pool and Spa, a service-oriented company established on May 6, 2011. A second-generation pool professional, Sam has worked on pools since the age of 12, turning summer work into a lifelong career. In 2025, Sam designed and constructed a fully automated sport pool on Jekyll Island almost entirely on his own. Following that achievement, Sam and Raul collaborated to successfully build two additional pools together.

Raul Hernandez is the owner and operator of Hernandez Pool and Spa, a construction-focused pool company with over five years in business. Raul has specialized exclusively in pool construction and renovations since 2010, contributing to the renovation and construction of hundreds of pools throughout his career. His deep expertise in structural work, finishes, and build quality forms a strong foundation for every project.

For years, Sam and Raul worked alongside each other in the industry, developing a mutual respect for each other’s workmanship, professionalism, and standards. Recognizing their complementary strengths and shared commitment to excellence, they decided the time was right to join forces.
